norinco trench gun question

just recieved a norinco trenchgun in the mail today, however it has no flaming bomb us arsenal marking and the bbl is marked norinco 97a. have i been had? has somebody added the extras to a riot gun?
 
Not exactly sure what you are asking. Did you buy a authentic trench gun and recieved a Norc or did you buy a Norc and get a Norc?

Norinco's are Chinese knock offs of other guns. As far as I know, Norinco does not replicate the exact markings as the original gun.
 
bought a norc, but i've seen norinco trench guns on guns usa with markings and called a 97t. also S.I.R had one in town and it had the arsenal marking and it was a norc. just looked on the S.I.R. website and they have a 97T, so i guess the company i picked this up from pulled a fast one. gonna send it back and get the right one.

ok, i think i've figured it out. the interarms? model from the us comes with the cool box and has the us arsenal marking, so sir is getting them from the us distributor, whereas all the other places i tried are straight from norinco. also, the us model has quite a nice walnut stock compared to the painted over beech (?) wood stock that seems to be on the rest. worth the extra expense just for the stock i think.
