Norinco Type 81 front sight block

I am embarrassed to ask - how is the Type 81 front sight block fixed against rotation - and how do I straighten it?

A brand-new (3rd run) Type 81 LMG has its front sight overhanging its dovetail while zeroed, and a canted front sight block is the issue.

Is it threaded 24x1.5mm AND sweated-on?

I had a similar issue ... the sight block.gas etc assembly is pinned on.... (good luck!!) the sight itself (if it is the same) the drum is just force fit. Mine flopped around loose...

I had to send mine back for replacement. Parts not available.
