norinco vs s.a.m 1911

What are the pros and cons between the two models. Im trying to do as much research and get as many opinions as possible. thanx in advance

Can only comment on the Norinco.
My 5 yr. old 1911 .45 has a good fit and finish and is accurate and reliable.
Heavy trigger pull.

Just aquired an NP 29, 1911 in 9mm.
Very good fit and finish, accurate, reliable with good trigger pull.

No problems with either.

Never seen a SAM 1911 in person but (in pictures) they do look nicer than a Norinco I had. Sights alone are 100x better.

Between the two- I'd pay a little bit more (not by much!) and get a S.A.M. A Stainless S.A.M. Titan is going to be my next.

SAM is for some reason heavy as hell!

Well built, and the finish is amazing.

How reliable they are, and how well they hold up over time is another story.

There is some not so good reviews I have read online.

The local gun shop guy in my area put it this way: the norinco is cheap, the sam is inexpensive. Now I don't know if that is totally true, as I haven't ever fired a norc 1911; however I have handled and shot the sam and they do seem like a pretty decent, low cost 1911.

Forged Frame vs. Cast Frame. Ive got a Norc and was thinking about a SAM. I love those Tiny Titans. Dead cool for the lover of small pistols.
