Norinco yellow box .223

I recently traded into 1000rds of norinco yellow box .223
It says boxer primed,non corrosive & reloadable on the boxes.
It is FMJ but no bullet weight on it.I shoot a colt Sp1 with the
1 in 12 twist.Is this stuff any good?Regards 375rum

From what I recall, early '90's Norinco yellow box was 55 grain bullets. Fine for 1:12" twist. Some say it's a little hot and dirty.

55grn fmj hotter then the win whitebox for sure! never chronyed it

if i remeber correctly it was fairly good but dirty
