Norinko HP9 options?

Hey guys long time reader first time poster

I'm looking for a gun for bear deference and perhaps swapping the barrel for trap I like the idea of the HP9 and was looking at the 14" but it seems to be sold out everywhere!

But its an enhanced version and I don't know if that's what I want...

Marstar has 2 12" in stock but I'm not sure what the difference is

I always defer to bears' wishes. They want the trail? Or that picnic basket? Or simply their private space? It is theirs !!

I agree.
I have a cabin in the Rockies that was broken into by bears last year twice. I have seen a few every year and they have kept to themselves but with my wife and friends out there I would like a last step option. I have bear spray and that would always be my first choice but.... When my wife is telling me I need a new gun who am I to argue? I sure it will never happen again I must move fast!
 
Last time I was in Bartons in Grande Prairie they had a 14" on the shelf. IIRC it was $230. bbcoutdoors.com You'll have to call or email as its not on their site but they do ship. Holy F**K I just checked the Marstar link, $400 for a 12.5"? Can Am sold them for $300 shipped! Wow!

Thanks just called they do have 1 14" in stock for $330 seem like a decent price?

oops I meant $330, but yeah thats not bad at all. The 14" seem to go for a couple bucks more than the grizzlies for some reason. Ive handled that very one and almost bought it but decided bills were more important than guns. IIRC their shipping prices are quite reasonable, service is always great. Do 'er up!
