Norma Brass

Is it normal for primer seating to much more difficult with Norma .308 win brass.Never had this problem with Rem,Fed,Win.

It feels a little tighter but that is all. the brass is just so much better. It is all I use now, got it from Dizzy Dan.

Norma Brass is top quality stuff, but tends to be too "soft" for my liking. Even when I had a 308 Norma Mag, I made my brass from WW 300 Win Mag brass since the Norma brass tended to loosen primer pockets very easily. Regards, Eagleye.

My first, and last, experience with Norma was 25 years ago. Purchased a box of Norma 270W which I believe was 130gr but very clearly labelled boattail. After firing half the box I thought I would pull a bullet to admire the sleek design - it was actually a flat base bullet with a barely perceptible heel. Never bought Norma again.....don't miss it either...AP
