Just wondering if anyone has had any experience using Norma hunting bullets? Particularly looking at the 6.5mm in the Oryx, Vulcan, and Alaska. These are all available in 156 gr. Not cheap though (but what of Norma is). Was trying to find some the new 156 Bergers (never did) still available, and ran across some Oryx's. Like I said not cheap, $100 for a 100 bullets.

Norma Oryx is a premium bonded core bullet, suitable for all North American game and all but the very biggest African dangerous game and features reliable, deep penetration and wide expansion. Best of all of Normas general hunting bullet designs but expensive. Alaska is a traditional cup and core RN soft point, Reliable and accurate but nothing special. Not a long range bullet. The Vulcan is very accurate in several of my rifles, and is made for rapid expansion and quick energy transfer, very suitable for deer and designed for quick kills on European driven wild boar. Good for long range shots on medium game. Not a moose or bear bullet.
