Remind me of the ce raptor design with the petals coming off. Rws also made a fragmenting bullet with a solid shank that then keeps going but it is not a mono.

Is this the future? Front third fragments into 6 or so pieces with the solid shank for deep penetration and exit. The ce raptors are amazing bullets according to what I've read about them.

This has been on 24hr CF since last May...but the only review (targets) has been out of Europe. John Barsness has some in .270 Win and should be testing it soon. It looks like a mix between the TSX/GMX/E-Tip and the fragmentable bullets like the Berger. Perhaps it will be the best of both worlds.

Kman300 - the RWS bullet you are talking about is the H-Mantel, and it has been around for a very long time. I have used them and they are good bullets.

From what little or few details on it I was able to find out, that's what it sounds like. I've just changed over to the Barnes TTSX in a few calibers but I am curious about the details of this product.

Thanks for the info 1899. The rws bullet I saw was called evolution green bullet.
