I've been on the hunt for some Norma MRP for quite a few months now, and since Tony in Montreal closed down, I haven't been able to get a fix on it. I use very little of this power, exclusively for my Barnes TSX .270 hunting ammo, but I wouldn't change this powder for anyting else. It took me years to fine-tune this load and I would prefer not having to restart it all by switching powders.

Bottom line... anyone could link me with a place that sells it please...?

Norma MRP is the same burn rate as Reloder 22 and is produced in the same factory. A lot of people claim it is the exact same powder with a different name on the can.

If you switch start at the bottom and work your way back up to the velocity you were getting with the Norma branded powder.

Try bdredneck.com Dave usually has MRP and N-204 in stock, and is a good guy to deal with. While RL 22 is not exactly the same powder, it is not far off and will work in place of MRP. My personal experience with both shows enough difference to cause me to exercise caution when changing from one to the other. Also I have found MRP to be less temp sensitive that RL 22, if that means anything to anyone. Regards, Eagleye.
