Norma powder

Since the exclusive importer is (very) lazy at stocking them, unless you go through someone who gets it by the side from the States, the supply may be irregular to say the least.
To me, they are good powders, though.

Not sure about present day, but Powder Valley USA was stocking MRP, MRP-2, and 203 and 204 in the Norma line.....

H4831: Only someone over the age of 55 would know the differences between the original 205 and the powder lots that followed....

Darn, went and blew my cover.

The #204 is great in the 6.5x55 reported to be the stuff used in their factory loads. And the 25-06 with 115-120gr bullets shines..............Harold PS I also know the 205 scoop

Yep, loaded a lot of ammo with the original N205. [How many here remember when Hodgdons marketed a H205?]

I have in my stores at present N200, N201, N202, N203B, N204, MRP, URP, and RP-5. [The latter is the same as MRP.]

MRP-2 has been discontinued, replaced by Norma 217

I like Norma powders very much, and have used 205/MRP/RP5 [and others] successfully in many cartridges for over 4 decades.

Regards, Dave.

Dave; Back in the 70's, my uncle used H205 in his '06......but had to switch to IMR4350 when his stock ran out.....If I remember correctly, the Hornady #3 manual listed the H205 powder for several different cartridges.....
