I found some Norma Tactical 55 Grain .223 on sale at livelifeoutdoors.com. It's on sale 6.99 for a box of 20 which seems to be to good to be true. I can't find steel cased ammo for that price. I have to ask, what is wrong with this ammo?
I've ordered a few to try out, but I don't have my rifle yet (waiting on NR ACR to be shipped)

Thanks,

Matt

I'm in Newfoundland which is normally limiting, but the ammo is actually from a local shop. I ordered online for pickup. Just received my PAL last week so I'm new to the scene. I managed to get in on the Non-Restricted ACR pre-sale that Arms East had awhile back. They also happen to be local. The actual rifles have not been shipped from the US to AE yet as they were having them modified in the US.

I've been watching online sales for .223 (brass cased) ammo for the last couple of months and with the exception of a couple of 1 day sales, I haven't seen .223 this cheap. Comes out to be about $350 for 1000 rounds.

I was in and picked some up, it's not Norma, it's Norinco. CJ 95 headstamp, so Norinco 1995 manufactured. 20 years old. It is brass cased, but did some reading online and have mixed feelings about how well it will shoot. Only time will tell.

Did you ask about the Norma? They still show Norma Tactical for sale on their site.
