The Hybrid is available and the heavy brake will be available in Feb

If

If the heavy brake has the extra holes only on top and the side holes are slightly smaller than the current similar brake it may vertical jump less than the current same style.

The other seems to be just a flash hider.

True

The reduced diameter muzzle opening would make it a brake. A FH would have a large opening.

Just noticed that in the pic -
Yes it would brake, but not as much as the heavy - the slots are to small for 7.62x39 for the gas to dissipate out the sides -

i get stuck having to weld my brakes on, how hard is it to clean one of these things when on the rifle is finish gonna be more resilient than the Czech stock?

Is this because of a law or because of slop? I say this cuz I have slop when attaching brakes on my rifle until I used the yellow "gas fitting" plumber's tape that you can get @ Lowe's or Home Depot.

unfortunately due to law damn half inch. Only reason ive been avoiding putting a brake on is because i hear there a b***h to clean, so ive held off.

I aint

I aint pullin yer chain charles -

The one brake looks like it may be a great improvement on a proven design -

The other looks like a flash hider -

I've had one of the "hybrid" pre-production models for a while. It's a decent flash suppressor and it does reduce the recoil a bit. I don't have any empirical data but it does shoot "softer" than with no muzzle device installed. In near-dark conditions all the flash that could be seen was a small "ball of flame" entirely contained inside the muzzle device.

Not pre production but tried out the Hybrid last night. It does everything Stevo says to a tee. I think it is one of the best brakes I have tried to this point.

I am excited to try the heavy brake when it is released.
