Hard to cough up this amount, as it is going on a cheap rifle, but one has to pay for quality, I know.
My vision is going from bad to worse and I need one to mount a 40 mm red dot and I believe a solid gas tube mount is the proper way to mount it.
It replaces the whole assembly. Simply throw the piston in the new hand guard and your good to go.

What this model doesn't show are the tapered spring loaded arms that hug the rear sight block to stop the hand guard from swaying.

I am really looking forward to your mount retension system. There are a few people out there that have adapted a retension system to this gas tube assy. No real clear pictures yet, but claim good success with retaining zero.
