Why do you include a 4 round magazine on a $3000 rifle.

I know I can get 5 rounds in the magazine. But the rifle cannot use it with the spacing.

I have brought this up before and you have ignored it.

Please answer.

This has been a problem for multiple years and nothing has been done to address it!

If you're spending $3000 on a rifle, you have money to buy a $20 magazine.

Both my Tavor and Colt Canada SA15.7 came with incorrectly pinned magazines (4 rounds max)

Seems to be a pretty common issue so it's not just North Sylva.

I find it hard to believe that it's so difficult to correctly pin a magazine.

In the end it's only a $20 magazine....So it's no big deal.

That's a BS attitude that because you spent 3k on a rifle you shouldn't get a proper magazine.
Would you drive away from a dealership in a brand new truck but one of the tires is 1/2 worn out and say "oh well I spent 40k on a truck it's alright I'll just go buy myself a 250$ tire?"

The amount of money these stupid NR black rifles go for the ought to be perfect in every way.

I wouldn't go so far as saying its BS. Maybe they're erring on the side of caution, especially that they probably couldn't afford one mistake. The tire analogy is different since it's used/new issue. Pinning mag is different. It's tolerance. But the part is so cheap and readily available so yeah I "get" the complain, but not really "get GET" it.

What's exactly the point of sending a faulty magazine in the first place?

It's a complicated tolerance issue. Material flex, workers that do pinning slack etc. If I was a distrubutor that big, I'd hate to get screwed over by selling prohib mags.

Besides, I'm willing to bet they aren't going to lose any real significant number(almost zero) of people buying Tavors.

Honest question for everyone: Would you not buy a Tavor because it's mag, which by the way is the most common magazine, is pinned tightly?

We should have a poll.

The OP has posted the exact same thing back in Oct:

http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/foru...-that-comes-with-new-Tavor-s-Pinned-at-5-even

And we are not going to beat around the bush on this one, we gave the OP a "friendly reminder" about a comment about TAVOR made on the NS forum in another thread yesterday . We have no patience to play games here and if this happens again we will issue real infraction and there won't be any more "friendly reminders". This thread is not a legitimate question, and it is here to stir things up.

And to those who complained about 'friendly reminders" and "warning" they have received earlier, we have been very easy with people who post irrelevant comments in the business area. This is still part of CGN forums, we will only give so much patience before we will give real infractions to the people who consistently do the same thing. The business area is not open for trolling, just because people are running businesses and you are potentially a customer. The forum will not allow this to happen in other areas, and it won't allow this to happen in the business areas either.
