Nos making a blind retrieve, story & VIDEO enclosed!

Hey Guys;

This video was taken by my good hunting buddy Geoffrey and it shows my Drahthaar (GWP) "Nos" making a blind retrieve on a goose that other hunters had shot but not recovered.

The morning duck hunt was a bust, so we had packed up & gone for breakfast. When we returned to the river after breakfast, Geoff saw the goose dying on the far shore. I used Nos to make the blind retrieve & as you can see the wind was all wrong for him, but with some encouragement, Nos made the retrieve! For me, dogs are an invaluable asset when it comes to game recovery. And I won't lie, this clip fills my heart with pride & my eyes with tears. Nos is a hell of a good hunting dog & my wife Huntress and I love him to bits! (Thank you Geoff for filming it!!!)

Good work Nos! My two Weimaraners are having a great season so far too! Not many birds yet, but not a single lost bird. Love hunting over dogs, wouldn't do it any other way.
