NOS Walther P1 Pistols who has one? Pics

When I contacted the vendor four days ago, he basically said that that was the way it was described from the distributor, so that was the way he advertised it. As of today, his site still advertises as "new, unissued".I returned it for refund and also requested he reimburse me for return postage, since the reason for the return was his bogus advertising.

I think the vendor should open the remaining sealed packages to verify if the remaining ones are brand new, and then adjust his advertising accordingly. That is the ethical thing to do, since he has been advised that at least one (and maybe more from reading this string) is not as advertised.

I'm very upset with this situation and all I can advise is "caveat emptor".

I bought mine from a site sponsor and it was the same idea, only mine was not refurbed. It was in decent used shape
There excuse was the description was from the importer...
It is very easy to tell the year when it is in the wrapper...
 
Got the new one from weimajack and it is absolutely new! NOT refurbished.
Even came with a walther box (not original to this gun) but cool.
Zero wear or marks to speak of. Two new mags. Brand new holster.
Get one from him while you can.
