I picked up about 1000 of these projectiles from a portion of an estate that ended up at a local store. They are in boxes of 250 and the old Nosler boxes; cardboard with metal edge reinforcements.
They are listed as "150gr .357 IPSC" bullets. They are jacketed with a solid base and a tiny dot of exposed lead at the tip like some round-nose soft-point bullets.
Anyone know anything about them?
One guy at the store mentioned they were meant for .38 Super Comp with compensators, thus the solid base as it would prevent lead particles from clogging up the ports due to the pressures. I have no idea if that's true or not.
According to Wikipedia (not the best source), .38 Super Comp as well as .380 ACP use .356" bullets. So I guess these are just slightly oversized (.001")?
