Anyone tried these? what kind of results were you getting. I plan on punching some paper with my 30-06, 200-300 yards. I have some imr 4350 i'll try with it. I have heard alot about other brands sierra, berger and hornady for match bullets but not alot about nosler. they were a decent price:D

I only got 2 pounds of varget left for my .223  Does varget work well for 30-06? i've never heard of people using it

Try 4350 1st, better suited for 168's in a '06.
I also get very good accuracy with W760 in the '06 but not at max load, when I load it so I have velocity on par with my 308 it shoots like Hell.

I use the Nosler in .308 Win and can't see any difference between them and the Sierra MK HPBT of the same weight.

I had good result in my last 30-06 with Nosler 168gr HPBT match and IMR 4831. 59 grains I think. some groups under 2" @ 300 yards! (with a 6x scope no less)

I have also shot the 6.5mm Nosler 140gr HPBT, very accurate.

"...Does varget work well for 30-06?..." Yep. IMR4064 is another powder. Works extremely well with 168 grain match bullets. Better consistency than IMR4350 and IMR4895.
