Nosler Max Load Data

Hi,
I'm away from home and wanting to test out some reloads this weekend. I was wondering if anyone could give tell me what the velocity is in the nosler reloading manual for the max load 46gr. Varget, 165gr. projectile. Forgot to check before leaving.

I guess that would depend on what calibre you are talking about.

I would think you might be loading a .308 win,??? Hodgdons says 46gr max load compressed
with165gr bullet 2773fps 50500 cup

Nosler #6, in 308 Win (assuming) lists a velocity of 2820 fps, 103% compressed load, for max load of 46gr varget. That's from a 24" Lilja barrel.

hahaha, yeah I guess it would help if I included the calibre in the question.

Of course the velocity produced in your rifle may differ significantly from the velocity listed in the manual.Differences of well over 100fps,are quite normal.
