Nosler RDF

Anyone use these at long range , are these bullets up there with lapua and Berger bullets?http://www.nosler.com/rdf-bullet

No experience, but they do look interesting with their claim to offer the highest BC in their class. Their 140 grain 6.5 mm is rated at 0.330 G7 BC. Hornady's ELD-Match in the same weight is 0.326, while the Berger Hybrid is at 0.311. Nosler seem to do it with a very sharp meplat, while the ELD does it with a plastic tip. Perhaps that is why they are ahead of the Berger Hybrid which has a more conventional and larger meplat. Nosler's issues in the past were that their plastic tip did not fit well to the body of the bullet, and their claimed BC was overly optimistic. Have not seen any of the ELD's so can't comment if they have similar issues or not. Their RDF bullet if the point is consistent may justify their BC claims...

The bigger problem however, is finding any of these things in stock somewhere!

the problem is is that manufactures tend to exaggerate on the BC's they label there bullets to be .Would be nice for someone like bryan litz to actually test these out and see what kinda numbers vs noslers's

I think you are very optimistic on todays exchange rate.. More like 1.38/1.39... even as low as 1.40 from some places.

But then, who wants to pay MSRP?????? :)

For those that want to book, send me a PM or email. I don't discuss pricing on an open forum. Might even have them in Jan. if we hurry.

Thanks

Jerry

How fast supply changes????

The Nosler 6mm and 30cal RDF bullets are now open to order. PM or email if interested. While supplies last, I will see them in late Jan if ordered now.

And you will not be basing pricing on US MSRP :)

I am sure the 6.5's aren't far behind....

Let me know

Jerry
