Does anyone know where to buy nosler premier unprimed brass in canada??i have heard very good comments on this brass.sorted by weight, flash holes deburred.primer pockets squared, and cases are all trimmed.nothing to do but pour in the powder.need to find some in .204.i think we cannot order from the u.s.a.

On the shelves at P&D in .204...

From all accounts, this is really good stuff. If true, I wouldn't be surprised to see it start displacing Lapua as the brass of choice in the benchrest community. (Maybe. Nosler is still less expensive, and the elitist 'if it costs more it MUST be better' attitudes so prevalent in BR might slow its adoption)

Prosper, .. "Nosler less expensive?!? Where? I just bought some Lapua .30-'06, Cost me $75/C. Everyplace I've seen the Nosler, it's around $1.00 per case, or a bit better.

The 50 bux I saved on 200 cases will pay me to do some case prep while I watch TV (not that the Lapuas will need a lot).

Why is nosler cases so expensive? If you reload to save money, stay away from these I guess. You can get Winchester for like $0.50 a pop which is still expensive in my book

Precision, baby. And of course time-saving.

See how long it takes YOU to trim, chamfer/deburr, square & uniform pockets, debur flash holes and neck turn; then individually weigh, measure concentricitry and sort 1,000 brass

Well, Lapua (and Norma, I think) flashholes are drilled, not punched so they have no burrs, Nosler primer pockets are not reamed sqruare so they are no better than Lapua, and the cases aren't neck turned. Weight sorting is the only thing I'd have to do and and some say that it's a waste of time anyway.

Besides, I'll start with .30-'06 cases, that's not what I end up with, so I have to neck turn, trim and chamfer-deburr anyway.

I got Lapua 30-06 brass for 75 cents a piece.

I just ordered some 223 Nosler brass and some 243 nosler brass, just to try it :) :dancingbanana:
