Not a single word for civilan G36 from the shot sho 14 Does HK disappoint us again?

They won't be rushed. They will announce and release it when they feel like it. They didn't put out any official statement that they will announce it on shot 2014. And the show isn't over yet. I am more dissappointed nothing along their pistol lineup got announced.

The P30X striker pistol is getting announced at the NRA show. It is possible the 243/293 is getting announced then as well.

Bah I gave up on HK a long time ago because they've given up on consumers as well.

Maybe they'll go bankrupt and a firearms manufacturer geared towards making sales and satisfying consumers will buy them up
 
German law has screwed the civilian out of HK rifles, It is like our government restricting our mag capacity. HK makes high quality arms and supplies military and governments around the world with thousands and thousands of weapons. I could see many other small firearm companies falling away before HK even starts seeing any sort of a loss.

If there is nothing in shot show I don't think it will be anything for NRA show

Bottom line. I think we won't see the civilan G36 happen at least few years :(

I know the striker HK pistol is being announced on NRA show, it has been confirmed on HKPro. No word on the 243/293. Possible the government said nope and didn't approve it anyways. But no one officially confirmed the 243/293 coming to SHOT, nor was there any teaser from HK. It may come out at the NRA show. It may come out on SHOT 2015.
 
They don't care about civilian sales because they make more than enough on their military contracts.
They also won't put out anything until it is fully tested and "ready" to be released. Notice how few models they have with warranty issues?

It will come but don't expect anything soon.

This little darling may be going up for sale in the near future. Just waiting to see how my non restricted ACR performs before letting my tack driver go.
 
I get a good giggle when folks say " That company can't be going bankrupt, they've sold hundreds of thousands of gadgets over the last year" sure they can be going bankrupt, there's an equation for it : when cost = x, and the price they're sold at = x-5

if x times volume = cost then (x-5) times volume = net loss, therefore more sales equal more loss. It's real easy, badly managed companies have been doing it for centuries.
 
I doubt they will go down under. The state will pull them up. They are hurting for cash, but I don't want them to rush out the quickest hodgepdge job ala sig just for a show. I want them to square away their products, then sell them when they are ready to be sold.

Your counting on the modern German state to not let HK go bankrupt.
You are underestimating how anti everything military and firearms the German/European voters are I would bet they would let HK go bankrupt and still fund the european center for "gender netural painters and sculpters who only eat un-cooked vegan centric meals on thursday."
 
Well it's getting really interesting now

I just talked one of my friend who went shot show
He said he just talked to HK staff on HK booth
and they denied everything about civilan G36
They said your guys read too much hkpro

So i really dont know what is the deal now
