Not able to reply with Quote on Equipment Exchange Forum

Hi Administrator,

I've posted self introduction on the Newbie group. When I tried to respond to the WTS post today, I got an error that I don't have permission. What do I need to do to get the permission.

You don't get to reply in the EE you must send a Private message.

Oh, be nice to the newbie.
OP, you are unable to respond to a EE post by default because the EE is not a discussion thread. As noted above, you need to contact that person directly via PM or email if they have one in their profile. You also need permission to gain access to the EE. That is a one time thing unless you abuse your privileges in the EE.

That was nicer than what I was gonna say...get the newbies to read the FAQs and stickies like I did when I signed up here...damn.
