Not another scope question

Yes, another scope question. I've got a heavy springer (Diana) that tears apart scopes. Does anyone know for sure whether a Leupold VX111 2.5-8 will withstand the double whammy? None of the local shops carry specific air rifle scopes though they do have some that are for 22's. Are most Bushnells good for a heavy springer? If possible I'd like to stay south of $150. Thank you for all your help.

I've had a compact (rated for airguns) CenterPoint 6x32 AO (with the illuminated reticle) on my Stag AR15 for about half a dozen years, and I think it's just great. I think I may have bought it online from Wanstall's, but I'm not sure.

All Leupolds are rated for spring gun use. Every last one of them; or at least that's what they told me. Suitability for purpose of individual models is a different matter. Believe it or not, Bushnells official position also is or at least was that their entire line is air gun worthy. It's not a unique stance.

You could talk to Korth about getting your parallax adjusted down to the shortest possible distance. It used to cost about 15 bucks. That would also give you a chance for the opinion that matters.

Thanks Dogleg, I didn't know Korth offered that service. I have a scope I'd like to send in and see if they'd still do that.
