As the title says, I never seem to see too many Savage Mark II's on the EE. Just wondering if this is because the people that do have them like them enough to not let them go very often, or is it because they are not very popular(or not very well regarded)? From what I've read, they seem to be quite accurate for the money, and I'm leaning toward getting a BTVS in .22LR as one of my first firearms purchases after I get my PAL/RPAL, so I'm curious as to why there aren't that many listed for sale?(though I've only been a CGN member for a few weeks so that may be part of the reason why I haven't seen many up for sale on the EE, but I do look at the EE every day to try and see what kind of prices different guns sell for on average). Anyone have any theories they wanna offer up?

I have one for trade on the ee, but like another poster said, they are so cheap it is not really worth selling it. They are very accurate reliable and fun though!

I also echo the above statements,.....I like mine because it is fun, accurite inexpensive to feed, lightwieght compared to some others, perty, & is good value for the dollar. Best of all there are many flavors to suit your taste.

I'll keep mine.....

Don't want to hijack this, but could you tell me what rear sight you've got there Ruffbird?

I believe they are from the Williams Sight Company. They are the highly visable type with the light gathering green on the rear & red on the front. They do come on this particular gun from the manufaturer. It is the Mk-II FSS.

This is another reason I went with this gun as those black iron sights are getting very hard to see with 57 yr old eyes. I wanted a .22 for hunting small game in winter, so stainless was a good choice, and with the highly visable sights, would make them easier to see in lower light conditions & I definatly wanted Savage because of the Acutrigger....
