Hi my name is Max and live in northern Ab so basically I grew up hunting and fishing. Unfortunately not much experience on computers.I know there are lots of people out there that have knowledge that I could use in my latest endeavor. I have purchased a Model 1871 Buffalo Classic in 45'70.It shoos well enough the only problem is that the sights that it comes with are only good to 100yds I have been looking for tall tang or vernier sight that will fit this model and prefer to deal with a Canadian retailer. If there is anyone that can help me with this problem I sure would appreciate the advice. Max.

Hello and welcome. You'll get better response to your comments about your rifle if you post it in "hunting" or "rifles" or someplace like that. This forum is really just for greetings. I'm sure there are lots of members who can discuss the matter, but I'm not one of them. I collect certain kinds of pistols, and many hundreds of volumes have been written about all the things I don't know about rifles. Enjoy the site.
