I am thinking about selling this old mossberg .22 trainer rifle and was wondering what a realistic listing price would be? I don't need every last penny but i don't want to sell it for $150 if it's worth $800 (Although i doubt it).

I did find it was contract number DAW-478-ORD-187 for 8000 units @ $12 a piece on 6/12/1941. The contract was delayed for the addition of serial numbers.

I didn't even realize mossberg made trainers and though it was only enfields in .22

Did you check it for proof marks? Might have British proof marks because many of the trainer's came to Canada from UK shooting club sales.
