Hey,

Just FYI: 9mm WinClean at LeBaron has gone up by 25%, it's no longer low/mid $9/box, it's $12/box!!

Ohh, well... still good ammo, but now it's barely OK price, and actually higher than other places around here...

Omen, when I noticed last month that 9mm at Lebaron's went up that much I promptly set up my Dillon 550 and began reloading. I'm just testing the rounds now, but at $6-7 a box, the price difference sure helps:D

I know you've considered re-loading, and for what it is worth it is pretty easy to do, sort of fun, and hopefully the reloads would be better than factory ammunition.

Just a thought......:shotgun:

The price of copper is the problem. I just ordered some bullets and the price last year was $88.50 per thousand, now is $102.50 and that in USD. I was told there have been 3 price increases since last July. So when the old stock ran out and they have to order more, you end up paying the new price.

Look on the bright side, if they priced them like gas you would be paying the new price on older cheaper stock........

If you do a lot of business with LeBaron buy a membership. The 7% discount will help to offset the increase a little.

That it's never in stock when you need it.

Never arrives, if you order it a head of time

If it's in stock, then it's gone by the time you get there.

There is always "some on order" but they can never tell you how many were ordered , or when it will come in.

If it's a popular item, then they only seem to order enough to sell out completely in one day, and make everyone else wait until the next order (if they even get that in, and when.. )

Which means business must be good if they can 'afford' to run it like this. :onCrack:

Another thing worth mentioning is that the 7% discount does not apply to anything on "special".

Most ammo is often dropped by a few cents and listed as "special", hence no discount.

I bought the membership last May and have barely used it since.

Don't get the membership if you're only going to buy ammo there.

Cheers,
Henry

the lead market has risen 23% in the last year, that is the reason for the price hike, with the "super consumer" china eating up most of the virgin lead out there, I'm sure we won't see prices go down
