Hi everyone! I'm new to this hobby and am looking forward to learning more. I never use to understand why my brother was so interested in rifles, etc, but now that I own one I get it. I plan on joining a range with my hubby, and getting a 22 handgun this Spring. Can't wait!
 
Welcome! I think you'll find there's a large (yet mostly fairly quiet... except for them trouble makers :p) community of women on cgn, and from the looks of things it's growing every day.
 
Try to be gentle with him.

It is a proven fact that most women are better shooters than men. Some say it is because they have no preconceived notions about guns & shooting & are ready to listen & learn.

Either way, welcome to the sport.
 
Don't worry, she's a better shot than me already. I can only imagine how bad she's gonna make me look by this time next year......:D

hey, sooooooo true lol , im new on here to, welcome to the site :D
I get some funny looks working the gun shows with my dad, but love checking out all the new guns out there and seeing the classics. Girls like guns to lol
