Nothing to see here....

:xes. WOW!!!! Very nice indeed!!! I have an old Broomhandle in .30. We have fired it a few times. Wonderful old pieces of history.

Went to visit a Museum about 20 minutes from the house. At the Rock Island Armory Arsenal. Is the 2nd one down in this pic the same as you show. I know little about any of these, but they sure caught my attention. Museum has thousands of weapons on display. All German items are WWI or WWII captures.

I can see your pride, they are a nice set of twins. When I compare your pictures to my own Broomhandle, it looks like the re-finishers simply cut off or milled off the sights. I often wish my guns could tell me their stories. Send me your e-mail and I'll send you my pictures. I love shooting my C-96, its just difficult to make the 7.63brass re-loadable.
have a great day and thanks for sharing

7.63 brass is easily attained. Just get some Privi 7.62x25 and run it thru .30 Mauser dies.
If your not into reloading, then just shoot Privi or Fiocchi 7.62 Tokarev in 'er.:)

Just to add....Don't shoot milsurp Tokarev ammo through them, especially the stuff
from Czechoslovakia! That stuff is meant for sub-guns and is high pressure loaded.
