Norinco 1911 shooting a foot high at 25 yards. Would like to replace the rear sight but I'm getting mixed information on the rear dovetail not being the same as other 1911's

Norinco 1911 shooting a foot high at 25 yards. Would like to replace the rear sight but I'm getting mixed information on the rear dovetail not being the same as other 1911's

What model do you have and how old is the gun? I am not sure of the dovetails on the older 1911's that Canam was flogging with the ammo deal a few years back. If its not one of those then it will be a Colt Series 70 dovetail but...one measured at approximately .322" and the other at approximately .330" My Norc NP29 9mm 1911 actual sight measured .323" when I removed it.

It's a 2015 45 sport, so they should be the same as the 70 series?
