This was my first year shooting CQB. I love the action and the chance to shoot both rifle and pistol in the same match.

This being the last shoot of the year, and just as I was getting the hang of it, Tim changed the course of fire. He taught us two dance steps that we now have to incorporate into the shoot. We have to do an advance and fire doing the Timk Shuffle (I am a lousy dancer) and then do the Timk Two Step while shooting both rifle and pistol.

Once again the weather was perfect. We have had a charmed life this year. Here are some pictures:

Okay, so first time out and had a great time. Definitely different from F-class and a real hoot. Lots to try to learn and remember. The morning practice was a huge help. Figured out about half my mistakes there....saved the other half for the match:D

Big thanks to Valmet762 for help and coaching. Even bigger thanks to the organizers. Will definitely be coming back for more next year.

great day indeed.. nice to see score improved by 74 points from last time (still using irons), too bad winter will slow down such a rapid advancement of my skill :), but time can be used to get a red dot implant in my retina to avoid any future battery issues.. LOL.

What a great day for CQB :) the new matches look very interesting yet challenging....have already made some strategies for next season.....now to perfect them :p

Even though I made so many mistakes and felt like a newbie all over again I loved it! Can't wait for the next one. Thanks for all the hard work guys!

LOL, nice pics guys.

My second CQB match, and the first one using my new to me elcan, I think I like it.

I just need to dial it in some more.

Thanks again TK, and Hungry for some good times.

Dude I saw you practicing your turns! I guess if you want to be the best you have to put the time in. Maybe after my kids are a little older I can catch up to you. :p

Thanks for all your tips! I will be practicing them and hopefully put up a great score next year.
