This will be the last outdoor Action Pistol Match at GRGC for the year.
Where: Guelph Rod and Gun Club; 4877 Wellington Road #29, Eden Mills, Ontario
What: 5 stages of action shooting
Rounds: less then 100 rounds, probably just over 80. bring 200 to be safe.
We use divisions similar to IDPA, metric/IPDA targets, and time plus points down scoring. This is not an IDPA match, nor affiliated with IDPA.
120 second par time per stage.
No concealment garments, no magazine retention, unlimited number of magazines. Mostly unlimited vickers scoring. This means shoot as many times as you want and your best 2 hits per target count in most cases, unless we specify something special in the stage description.
Equipment
-your holster must have at least 1 level of retention
-your holster must be for the firearm you are using
-your holster must be on your strong (dominate) side (near your hip)
-your firearm must be safe and reliable
-your ammunition must be safe and reliable
-your magazine pouches, holster, belt, etc must be secured and stay attached to one another and your person
-an equipment check will be performed before your relay's safety briefing, you must pass in order to shoot
Staff/Volunteers
-RO or Scorekeep for one relay Saturday, shoot for free on another relay, and get lunch for free
-Friday set up crew - volunteer to set up and shoot for half price Friday afternoon, and get a free BBQ lunch. I need about 5 volunteers. We will start setup at 10am with lunch around noon.

Friday Squad
starts at 2pm, expect to finish by 4pm
Saturday Squads
9am start, finish by 11 and fire up the BBQ
11am start - 11am Squad will tear down their last stage after their last shooter. Expect to finish around 130pm BBQ starts again when stages are torn down.
All squads are responsible to pick up their brass and garbage
The squad time time is the start time for your squad. Be on time and be ready to shoot.
Lunch
Lunch will be a nominal price probably $5. Burgers, sausages, potato salad, macaroni salad, chips, soft drink. Cash day of, but please let me know if you plan to purchase lunch or not when you register. I don't need 100 burgers left over, or worse be 100 burgers short.
Match Fee
Please make sure you send your $25 EMT to matchdirector@andrewvincent.ca in order to squad in practiscore please use the password "Guelph". Staff will be able to squad after they confirm their role with me.
50% of the match fee goes to the club. 50% covers match operating expense. BBQ runs at cost.
