Nova Scotia down low?

Hey Jon, we got white tail, moose if you can win the lottery...lol, black bear, salmon, trout , lots more not much of a fishermen.....A few outdoor shops, better buy sports etc....we don't have near the selection of outdoor shops as you would in Ontario...
Buy anything you need now and bring it with you.
Deer season starts (gun) the last friday in October and end the first Saturday in December. Bow season is mid september. You can apply for a doe tag in certain zones otherwise it antlered deer.
There is good grouse hunting in certain spots as well pheasant. Oct 1 is the opener but in the Annapolis valley it is Nov 1 for pheasant.
Good striped bass fishing in the surf or rivers. There is a fall Atlantic salmon season if you're into that. There is some good sea run brook trout fishing in rivers up the eastern shore.
Go for a drive around the Cabot Trail and you'll see lots of moose if you get out early.

Margaree river in Cape Breton has salmon, very popular spot, never got to try it myself but it's on the list. It's fairly gun friendly and our CFO is relatively quick and on the ball.
