All, 2021 PR matches are now posted at http://www.nsrifle.org/programs.htm
Most Precision Rifle matches are conducted in the prone position, at distances of 200 to 800 meters. The targets are relatively small and require accurate compensation for wind conditions and bullet trajectories. Various sized targets, exposure times, and target movements are used in Precision Rifle matches.
Most matches require you to be a member of the NSRA, however there is one Open Match 10 July 21. Allowences can also be made if you are a member of another Provincial Rifle Association.
All matches are shot at the NSRA Bull Meadow Range Complex
NSRA also runs a series of practices and training days throughout the shooting season. Membership is required for these events, however prospective members can attend 2 sessions prior to joining to see what we do.
I also have a loaner rifle with a high quality scope attached thanks to Armament Technology, including ammunition donated by Hirsch Precision. Sorry you do have to be a member to get free ammunition, non members can bring their own as long as it is purchased from Peter.
