Hey Everyone,

This is a shout-out to any and all Nova Scotian smallbore shooters. I have recently setup a website for the sole purpose of maintaining a central location for all competitive smallbore activity in Nova Scotia. On this site I've setup a mailing list, which is used for sending out info about upcoming events, as well as sending out results from previous shoots… The mailing list is private, so no one has access to your email address, nor will it show up for others to see in any mailings that get sent out.

The site is entirely controlled by me and I assure you that you will NEVER receive any advertisements or spam. It's completely a not-for-profit setup that I created in order to help organize competitive smallbore shooting in NS. I encourage everyone and anyone who is even somewhat interested to sign-up - there is a calendar of upcoming events as well as a section to upload some of your own shooting related photos.

We already have 40+ shooters signed up and I'm hoping that number will grow as we continue to get the word out.

I took part in the 1st one and had a great time.
Missed the 2nd event and will unfortunately miss the 3rd one.
Hopefully I'll be able to make the 4th in the series.

I can't think of a better way to spend a day during the winter months.

Spiffy stuff. My local band of usual suspects (St. Mary's Shooters Assoc. out of Sherbrooke) has some events as well, though they tend to cool off in the winter. Will be sure to post them to you as they are great events with interesting prizes.

Likewise, would be very interested to know of any events taking place in the Northern end of things (Im in Antigonish), and would gladly help out however needed.

The various shoots are usually held in different locations, but the usual places are AMA-Dartmouth, PCMRA-Stellarton, Lunenburg Rod & Gun Club and NSRA-Bull Meadows... All but the NSRA have an indoor range to shoot at during the winter. That being said, it would be great to see other clubs join in the fun. I'd be willing to make the drive, and I'm sure others would too, if your local club wants to host an event. And everyone is always welcome to attend the various events listed on the website.
