Just arrived, right in time for the long weekend. Time to get more ammo! It's far lighter than I expected, and I hope to keep it that way. John was nice enough to replace the flash suppressor with a Surefire muzzle brake.

Very nice. I'd like to get the basic version myself. Who brought it in for you, and how long did you have to wait?

The reason why there aren't more in like this is probably because people aren't willing to pay the price. I was though. It wasn't cheap, but I'm happy with it.

$1975.00 (USD) + Questar's import fees + tax+duties + shipping.

It also took some time because Noveske themselves were backordered for 4 weeks, and I also wasn't around to receive it after the CFO authorized the transfer. Took nearly 4 months in all.

Well, I put 300 rounds through the N4 this weekend, and it seems to shoot great, and I love that Surefire muzzle brake. Shoots far better than I can, but I'm not that great of a shot at all. This is at 50 yards with el cheapo 55 grain Winchester white box.

But does the accuracy bonus really justify the price premium? Will the shooter actually see the difference? (Remember, his own skill will likely determine the limits of the rifle's accuracy.)

Just asking out of curiosity.

It also comes equipped with a free float rail, BUIS, Vltor stock and in this case, the Surefire muzzle break. Add up the cost of all these add ons and you'll see that the cost is fairly competitive, given the excellent quality.

Most people buy a $1300 rifle and then proceed to blow an obscene amount on accessories which would put the price of their rifle on par, or cost even more, than this one.

Perhaps not to you, but you don't have to worry about that. I shelled out the cash, and as long as I'm happy, all is well as far as I'm concerned.

Absolutely, I'm happy for you. It's just that I look at it from a cost/benefit perspective. But if it works for you, all the better. :)

Wow - you guys can't keep your criticism out of this thread.

If you don't like Noveske or AR's in general why clutter this thread?

There barrels are capable of sub MOA accuracy plus they are double chrome lined meaning they will last forever.

Sigh if I show pictures of my firearms I don't want to read comments like "Of you spend too much on it"
