I am curious about trying one of their 7.62 models on an LTR.

They come in two sizes based on their website.

The 5/8 by 24 will leave the most metal on the muzzle, but I am still concerned.

The reduction in recoil and flash I am sure will be nice, but I dont want to rob any accuracy.

Anybody messed around with this before, or any brake/suppressor on their LTR?

it could be done..I have seen one with a Smith Vortex but the Noveske???I would not do it....

Smith Enterprise now makes a model specifically for a sniper/tactical rifles. Tactical Rifles in Florida puts them on their M40A1-3, I think they look pretty cool.

Unless you are shooting one of the BIG .30 Cal or up cartridges, a muzzle brake is a waste of money (for .308Win). A Vortex will do a better job of eliminating muzzle flash, but with the right powder & load, muzzle flash can be a non-issue.

I can't really see the Noveske krink FH reducing recoil on a bolt gun as muzzle brakes divert gases out of angled ports and use the gas in controlling recoil, where as the Noveke Krink has no ports and is designed to create back pressure.

If you really need to, go with the Smith Vortex. It is about the best FH out there.

SKBY.
