Noveske PIG crush ring question

Hey guys. So I got a DD MK18 off a buddy of mine and he had the KX3 on the end. Thing is...he didn't put it on so the writing is straight and it's annoying the hell out of me. I'm new to AR's but I'm not completely inept. I assume there's a crush ring in between the device and the bottom of the thread. My question is...what kind of crush ring would I get to replace it, so I can take the device off and straighten it out. I know it's kind of silly but it's bugging the sweet Jesus out of me. Thanks
 
Shim kit as above or a 1/2 inch crush washer from most retailers that carry AR parts. They can be hard to find at times but they're around if you call a few shops.
