These are very much like a Browning High Power. A really good 9mm and at this price a steal. You get much more than what it costs. For anyone who wants a good 9mm and is on a budget, this is one you should not pass on.

I think they have slightly different frames. Other than that, I have not idea.

The P9 and the Hi-Power have many interchangeable parts and the magazines are supposedly, interchangeable as well.
The P9R, on the other hand, does not.
FEG P9R are DA/SA pistols and were based on the S&W Model 59 and has very little in common with HP pistols.

Where do the "M"'s fit into this? Lots of interchangeability with HPs?

This pistol is basically an EXACT copy of the HI - POWER check it out at [ www.genitron.com ] I have ordered one and it is a keeper and a damn good deal as they are $475.00 in the USA.
