Why not? With my bushnell 3-9 I was shooting out to 300 yards. I have a newer scope that only has enough elevation to shoot out to 200 yards. Longer distance 22 shooting has gained a lot of popularity in the US and there are even matches for this kind of shooting now.

EGW will adjust the cant to any value you want. I ordered mine with 60 MOA.

I have an older Mk.II that has the grooved receiver, does EGW make a rail that will fit that? 20MOA would also be my preference.

I couldn't find anything there for a grooved receiver, just the same rails for D&T receivers. I did once see a source in this forum for a grooved rail, but I can't find it anymore and am kicking myself for not saving the link.
