Back from tour and ready to get back into bolt knob installations. Bolt knobs are $34.99 plus tax and installation is flat rate $35 plus tax for Remington and Savage. Buyer pays $10 return shipping per job.

Bolt knobs are CNC machined 6061T6 Aluminum and milspec hard anodized in black.

Are you doing installations right to the bolt body, as in adding a bolt to a Kiff custom bolt? or are you adding on to the existing bolt attachement?

Great to see you back in country. Have already sent a few guys your way.

Their question was what thread do you normally use and if you would install another makers knobs?

I have a couple of these installs and they are very nicely done. Kinda Badge Ord looking knob. Finish has been very durable.

Any thoughts on making other shapes?

Jerry

I thread the original and then install the knob.

TIG welder will be an addition in the spring, then I can do complete custom handle installs as well.

I can install knobs from other suppliers, although ours are usually cheaper anyway.

We are also going to make some stainless and parked steel ones as well.

Custom shapes are always an option, not sure on mass producing other shapes, but open to suggestions.

Glad that the bolt knob operation is up and running. Silly question... do you carry out this modification to Winchester Model 70 bolts as well ?

Hmmm... how about a CZ452 .22LR bolt? Now that would be interesting! :D

Cheers,
Barney

Thank Jeebus that you're back to give us tac wannabes our fix. If the Taliban Bxstards got you killed, I would go over there and mingle among them (I'm asian) and hunt them down! :ar15: ha ha ha

Okay, I'll PM you about getting my M700's sorted out!

Cheers,
Barney

Hey youre back!

Remember my inquiry about doing a savage rimfire bolt some time back this summer?
Still think you could manage something?

at the time he seemed pretty optimistic that he would!
By the way Jerry have you checked my thread about that particular rimfire in the rimfire subforum?, it was inspired by your 6.5 mystic and affordable tactical savage articles

When you have some downtime with the .22 send me the bolt to have a look at. I am sure we can figure something out.

Same for you CZ guys. If someone has a bolt they can ship me, I will have a look and see what I can do.
