If you've got a Rossi, a Henry, or a Chiappa, and you're looking for some leather for your mare's leg, now is the best time to grab one of these build-to-order custom holsters! We've just received news that prices for these holsters will increase beginning 1 January 2015, after three years without a single price bump by our friendly leatherwork master. For three years they have worked very hard to avoid cost increases, but this year has seen a jump in raw leather prices for our leathersmith and try as he might, he cannot prevent increases for next year. He has kindly offered us the warning that this change is coming and we've been encouraged to let everyone know -- so if you are in the market, now's a good time to take advantage of the current pricing. Some manufacturers would have simply issued the notice to change pricing immediately; our friend has been kind enough not only let us know in advance, but to want to let customers know in advance as well.

We will change pricing for these holsters on 1 January 2015, but until then, the current prices stand; it's a fantastic product built by an extremely experienced rancher and saddlemaker. The workmanship of his holsters and their rugged durability has been shown off in the Ranch Hand thread in our forum for quite some time, but if you're new to these products please click the item below.

There's no time like the present to get yourself a CANADIAN-MADE, CANADIAN-SOURCED mare's leg holster. These custom items are built-to-order one by one, suit them beautifully for aesthetic matching, and are field-worthy dependable stuff you can count on in the bush.

Cheers,
Daniel

On the selection menu it gives the option of a "Concho and Keeper".

Can you please explain what these are?

Well, I've wanted one of these for a while (then forgot about them), and was looking for something to treat myself with. And this is as good a reason as any.

The keeper is a flap of leather over the body of the holster. The concho is a decorative brass "lone star" fixture. These are decorative options very popular with the cowboy action shooters we serve (and the option exists due to their popular demand, actually) and they look very sharp in a classic western way. They do not change the function of the holster at all.

Enter your current pants/belt size. The center hole will match that. The belt will be able to size up over one size and size down over one full size, to allow for outdoors gear/snow pants/etc.
