Hi all
Many of you have nothing but good to say about the Norinco NP 29 in 9mm. I guess I was just unlucky. Bought one to see if I would like the 1911 platform.
I purchased an NP 29 and it would not fire. Light primer strikes. Sent it back and they exchanged the upper. That fired but the pin strike was off center.

Kept it anyway and after 400 rounds it started trigger jamming. It was like the safety was on and the trigger would not budge. Tore it down and replaced pins and springs. It worked for another 40 rounds and quit. Sent it to Epps spent $85.00 and got 2 shots before jamming. Have a new trigger on order so I will try that.

Not my go to hand gun. At the price point paid I don't worry and enjoy the tinkering.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry for your woes....that is honestly very unusual....normally the tollerences are so loose that they go bang without any issues..shame this may ruin what is a solid budget pistol...I'm confident you'll sort it...best of luck.

If I sent a pistol some where and payed $85 for them to fix a problem and they didn't fix it I would send it back so they could have a second go at it or ask for a refund.

Left the next day after firing it for Florida or I would have done the eyebrow raise. I still might when I return in the spring.
