NP22 - How do I remove the rear factory sight?

Hey guys - how do I remove the rear factory sight on my NP22? Any suggestions?

with a brass punch OR maybe the sig sight pusher works on Norc slide?

Only the rear? On mine the rear came out easily with the Sig sight tool...the front I had to hammer out (and not nicely). It did break but I didn't care as I was putting in night sights. One caveat...the dovetails are oversized for factory Sig sights (if you're planning on going that route). I ended up JB Welding mine in.

Guys...that much I had figured...lol. When using a punch to remove it, which side of the slide to you punch from - the side with the decocking lever, or the other side?

From the Sig tool instructions:

2. Sights may be removed from either side of the slide. Sights should ALWAYS​

be installed from the left side of the slide, as viewed by the shooter when firing.
