NP29 TIGHT Mag and stiff trigger?

I just took delivery of a used (looks brand new) NP29 today and found the 1 factory mag is very tight going in, and does not drop free from the mag well at all. I did a quick search and found a few people that say the TRIPP 9mm 1911 mags work great in the NP29, but aside from buying new mags, is there something I can do to make the factory mag slide in and out like butter?

Other question, stiff stiff stiff trigger, hardest trigger I've ever felt in a gun, is there an easy DIY fix to loosen up the trigger at all?

Aside from this (I havent fired it yet) the gun looks and feels great in my hands and I hope its a good shooter :)
 
Took her to the range tonight, put about 100 rounds down range and not a single hiccup at all. I cleaned it last night, it wasnt overly dirty at all, but it did need a cleaning. Overall, very pleased with it aside from the tight mag and the stiff trigger, so ANY advice on those 2 things would be greatly appreciated.

Is the trigger pull as heavy with the mag out? Might be a bent trigger bow interfering with the mag or an out of spec mag body.
 
No, not that bad. the mag in and mag out issue seems to be related to the mag release button, if I push the mag release button when inserting the mag, it slides right in, if I push the crap out of it, the mag almost falls out freely.
 
The trigger can be smooth out by lite stone out the tiny burrs, as for the mag, Norinco mags are known for lower quality, it is no harm to buy some after market mag.

I picked up a Kimber mag, it goes in just as stiff but drops right out easy peezy. I'll have to look for a smith in my area or research how to play with the trigger myself on this bad boy.
 
Ya, that might work. Other than a field strip for basic cleaning, I havent taken one down completely yet and am a little intimidated to attempt it, but I will look for replacement parts like that spring, and whats involved in a trigger job. thank you.
