Well obviously the "boat has landed" and the container has disgorged like some Chicom Horn Of Plenty....

SFRC is apparently getting the transfers done and mailing them out during working hours as this is being typed.

I'm looking forward to mine. But I'm kicking myself as I've been procrastinating about getting my Wolff Springs order in for a couple of 1911 kits as well as a couple of others for guns I've already got.

Nothing really wrong with them, some people just prefer a more traditional looking pistol (I'm guessing here, I can only speak for myself).

I thought the SR's were in .45 only . They're making a 9mm version as well ???

my friends in Arizona has info that the 9mm SR1911 version will be manuf too...not something that can be verified with Ruger... but could become reality in 2012 !

I have a '29 on order @ SFRC...... Status changed on the 2nd to proccessing......

Card came in the mail last Tuesday.

I didn't get a chance to pick it up at the PO till Saturday evening.

I'm back on the road till this Friday, so it's still wrapped up in the plastic case covered in chi-com red tinged grease. I didn't even get a chance to open the plastic vaccume sealed wrapper. At first look; extended beaver tail, commander hammer, extended controls, flat mainspring housing, 2 mags, cleaning rod and brush. All in a standard Nork 1911 carry case.

Anyone else who got one get a nice little 'surprise' from SFRC in the package?
