NR NEW TM-22 Standard $104.99 USD In Canada

IRG, can you confirm if these use the same TM-22 magazines used in the previous models? There's a post on Reddit saying that the rifle isn't compatible with standard TM-22 mags as they are lacking the cutout on the rear of the magazine required to lock them in.

I’d like to know this too!

From the image, it appears it’s regular TM22 mags.

To confirm, the TM22 uses the same magazine; however, to ensure compliance in all 50 states, some states required a proprietary magazine. To address this, Rock Island Armory found a solution by adding a notch to the magazine. While there are currently no dedicated magazines for this rifle, our U.S. customers, like Rock Island Armory, have found a workaround by notching the magazine to match the one that came with the rifle.

But a traditional TM22 magazine will function in this model?

I think that's a no. You have to cut a slot in the back of the magazine.

From what O'dell said in the most recent video from Taccom, the Canadian version will be backwards compatible with magazines. It's also threaded.
 
If this is the case IRG can you please let us know.

I almost bought a few TM22 mags from a Canadian retailer thinking they will function in your TM22 Standard. Will you be bringing in the 15 and 25 rounders?

On second read of IRG’s post, the magazines that were sent with the firearms to the US were regular TM22 mags. They then added a notch to the magazine, not the firearm (unless they left that part out). So TM22 mags will still function.

Received mine just now. The rear stock is NOT as shown in the photo on IRG website. There’s no slot for a sling, and it appears this was meant to have a cheek riser that was not included.

Oh well, it was cheap.

Edit: where could I find a cheek riser that fits this?

i wondered if the riser on the TM22 M4 stock will fit this?
