Not all is lost on the NR front. It's just not as easy to have plausible deniability anymore is all. Before all you had to do was say you sold it and can't remember to who... now all you need is just enough open out going reference numbers to give the shrug.
I reccomend opening and renewing reference numbers quarterly with all your eligible family, friends, and trusted acquaintances on top of any of your normal buying and selling. If everyone does this it will connect every single Pal holder with Mike from Canmore, and the pseudo gun registry loses its ability to track Firearms but gains the ability to track all those who you associate with, and there's also security risk of sharing your PAL info with all these individuals.
