Nr sbr .22lr??

So I was thinking, a completely ridiculous but fun exercise would be to make a NR SBR in .22LR using either the SLR or ATRS receiver set.

Since the receiver set is NR and the .22LR is not centerfire then the only rule applying would be the collapsed/folded length of 660 mm. Run a Magul fixed carbine stock and a 10" or so barrel with brake and you should just squeak over the 660 mm.

And you can still get 25 round mags, right? For short range plinking, it seems like an interesting proposition.

Unless I'm missing something....?

I've been following that too, but the benefit of this is the AR-15 style ergonomics, huge trigger and accessory selection etc. And it will piss off people.
